IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER
Enclosed you will find important information concerning the meeting and publication of your paper. Please review these items carefully and feel free to contact me if you have questions.
We are pleased to inform you that your abstract has been accepted by the committee of PLANS 2012 program. Please note that the abstracts have been listed in the program in alphabetical order, as the policy for paper selection for presentation has changed. Acceptance of your abstract does not guaranteed presentation at the conference. Final determination as to which papers will be guaranteed a presentation time in the session, and which papers will be designated as alternate presentations, will be based upon the session chairs’ reviews of full technical papers. Therefore, it is extremely important that you submit your completed manuscript no later than March 19. Papers not submitted by March 19 will be withdrawn from the conference program.
Important Dates to Remember
March 19 Submission of the validated IEEE PDF eXpress file (electronic version) and the IEEE’s Copyright Release Form is due at the ION’s National Office for review by assigned session chairs. Papers not submitted by March 19 will be withdrawn from the conference program.
March 30 The last day to register for the conference without a late fee. (Authors attending the meeting are required to pay registration fees.) Register at www.plansconference.org
March 30 Last day to ensure you receive the conference rate on hotel reservations. Please make your hotel reservations at the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes phone, +1-800-228-9290 or use the link on the PLANS website by March 30. The special rate is $192 per single/double per night. Limited government rate rooms are available to those U.S. government employees paying for the room with a U.S. government credit card and traveling with government travel orders. Please be sure to identify yourself as an IEEE/ION PLANS meeting participant to receive the special rate. Program brochure containing reservation information will also be posted on the PLANS website.
