IEEE/ION PLANS Speakers' Breakfast
You are invited to attend the Speakers' Breakfast on the morning of your presentation. (The Speakers' Breakfast is for the author who will be making the paper presentation.) The Speakers' Breakfast will be held from 7:30-8:15am in Oleander A (lower level). You will need to bring a brief biography (100 words or less) with you that you will supply to your Session Chairs during the breakfast. This will be used for introduction purposes prior to the presentation of your paper.
The purpose of this breakfast is to allow the Session Chairs to meet each of the presenters, to collect your biographical information and coordinate any last minute details. This is also the time that audio-visual equipment and the timing lights will be demonstrated.
The Speakers' Breakfast is MANDATORY for each author presenting a paper that day. The author representing each paper, as well as the author representing each alternate paper, should attend. If you are not in attendance the Session Chairs will not know if you are prepared to present and will allocate your presentation time to another paper. Alternate authors must be in attendance and prepared to present if called upon. If an alternate author is not present at the breakfast, and/or not prepared to make an oral presentation if called upon, their paper will not be published in the proceedings.
